Opacity Is a Finished-Garment Test
A fabric can look opaque on a table and behave differently after it is cut, stretched and sewn. Test the finished sample in the intended size and movement position. Use consistent lighting and record the fabric color, sample size and test method so a later sample or bulk piece can be checked the same way.
Do not treat a GSM number, fiber name or supplier description as proof of squat-proof performance. If the intended test has not been completed on the finished garment, record the result as DATA_NOT_FOUND.
Waistband and Gusset Review
